Elite Dallas designer, Elle Cole, chose GP Drapery for her most recent drapery installation. We worked closely with Elle to provide design support in the execution of her gorgeous vision.
Elle chose Scalamandre’s Kelmescott hand block print discovered in an English archive. The print is created by using the original wood blocks which were first cut by hand and printed in July 1924. The charming scenic design of English country life is freshly interpreted for today’s interior. An additional custom touch was added by sewing a luxurious tape trim inset ½” from the drapery lead edge over an extended overlap in order to showcase this beautiful detail. GP Drapery lined and interlined the drapery for a full old world feel.
Elle chose GP Drapery’s exclusive iron finish, Radiant Gold for the custom iron drapery hardware and the entire presentation was installed with great, tender loving care by GP Drapery’s first class installation team.
Additionally, GP Drapery was honored to install a showcase room in the Hamptons for Elle Cole in the Traditional Home’s Hampton Designer Showhouse 2016. Once again GP Drapery was proud to make Elle Cole’s drapery vision a reality when we installed Elle’s signature classic cozy glamour drapery design in only five days. Elle chose Schumacher’s abstract animal print, Feline to create lovely drapery panels with gorgeous tape trim on the lead edge, all installed on clean lined satin nickel iron hardware. The logistics on the shipping, receiving and installation of this remote island project was a seamless effort with a quick lead time and no stress for our valued designer client.
